Sebastian Gaskin

Sebastian Gaskin is a Toronto-based R&B singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Tataskweyak Cree Nation in Manitoba. Writing and self-producing music that defies formulas, his sound draws from R&B, hip hop, metal, and punk influences. In 2021, he earned the Western Canadian Music Award for R&B Artist of the Year, the Kevin Walters Songwriting Award, and was selected for the Allan Slaight JUNO Masterclass. Following his debut EP Contradictions, Gaskin headlined a cross-Canada tour, appeared at major festivals, and supported artists including Common, T-Pain, and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
